🐑 “Julie" has an interesting fleece of white and brown with a little grey at the base. The micron count for a Jacob ranges from 25 to 35, this seems to be right in the middle and is bouncy. Jacob is a heritage breed on the Threatenedlist.
🧶 Jacob will is prized by hand-spinners because of the variety of colors in one fleece. Separate the colors or card them together for a gradient of black, gray, and white. You can also use this wool for wet felting, needle felting, and other arts and crafts.
🧴 I scoured a sample in Unicorn Power Scour, and the lanolin was removed easily. This is un-washed Raw wool ready for you to scour and prepare for spinning
