Lightning is a Ram Lamb and this is his hogget fleece.  Hogget is the first shearing of a lamb.  The wool is bright white and very soft.
Navajo-Churro is a dual coated sheep which gives a long outer coat that average 25-40 microns and a soft inner coat with average micron of 22-30.   Spun together they make a strong durable yarn. Considered medium in coarseness the fiber is excellent for outer garments, slippers, upholstery, horse cinches, saddle blanks and weavings and more.
This breed is noted for the interesting variety of colors.  See our other listings for more choices.
This is a Raw, un-washed fleece ready for you to scour.  I scoured a sample with Unicorn Power Scour and it cleaned up great.  The wool spins easily and is a pleasure to work with.

***I photograph the fleece in bright sunshine to try to get the most accurate color replication.
